• 1947 Studied at Landeskunstschule, Hamburg (with Willi Titze, Willem Grimm)

• 1960 Lived and worked in Paris, produced numerous lithographic series

• 1963 Professor, Hochschle fur Bildende Kunst, Hamburg. Married Karin Szekessy. Lives and works in Hamburg.
